Set on a classic Louisville street, Jefferson Avenue pairs bold modern architecture with a landscape that feels tailored, welcoming, and full of life. The home's dark vertical siding, standing seam roof, and white gable establish a modern architectural character, and the landscape complements it with clean lines and layered planting. Wide concrete pavers lead from the sidewalk to a covered entry. A low black steel planter with white flowering perennials and catmint sits on one side of the walk, with feather reed grass on the other. A rhythmic fence of dark steel blades and slender pickets defines the edge of the property while still keeping the home open to the neighborhood. Tucked beside the entry, an intimate courtyard of pavers set in ribbons of groundcover is framed by golden forest grass, ferns, and airy multi-stem trees, creating a shaded spot for morning coffee. Thoughtful, low-water planting and a restrained material palette make this compact urban lot feel both refined and effortlessly livable
