Panorama

In December 2021, the Marshall Fire swept through Louisville and left a lasting mark on Davidson Mesa. As the community continues to emerge from dormancy along the hillsides, Project Panorama grows with it.

Nested within a resilient, regional palette, the home settles into the land – growing fuller and more connected to its surroundings with each season. Native vegetation meanders down the slope and weaves throughout a series of natural stone walls that organize the site’s programming. As one passes through the architecture, the landscape expands well beyond the project’s boundaries as the eye is drawn to the red roofs of CU Boulder backdropped by the Flatirons as Longs Peak looms in the distance.
